Steven and the Stevens

I've come to love this cartoon and Gravity Falls and how unique they are. The characters, the plot, I enjoy them so much. The characters are amazing as well. Garnet was my favorite for a while, but as I started to update myself after missing a few episodes, I've come to love Steven so very much. He's so enthusiastic, friendly, and puts so much heart into everything he does and tries so very hard, even when things might not work out in the end. The stories about his mom always pull at my heartstrings though. Especially with how his dad and Rose Quartz met.

I'll update this later when I have it finished and cleaned up. I just wanted to show a bit of my process when it comes to drawing characters. Expressions have become a thing I've gotten so much better at, I feel so good about it. But I feel I can be better! But because of that, I lack body language and anatomy, so that's a thing I have to work on starting now. The life of an artist is a never ending journey, but a journey I've come to love. Every step is an adventure!

Did I just write a small novel, dear lord. Also I think I gave him the Mario run, whoopsies.
